Good perspective for my soul

It is humbling and so helpful to hear from the perspective of what my husband may be experiencing. So blessed to read Gods stories of redemption and how He will be glorified through us all. He is full of grace and mercy and He truly has a plan, we just need to trust Him!!

A GIFT FROM OUR FATHER

This book is a true gift!!!! It served as so much confirmation to me. I recommended ANYone who feels the tug from the Holy Spirit to not give up on your marriage to read this perspective from a prodigal spouse. It softened my heart even more to work that God is doing in me and my husband even as he staggers around in the far away country. Do NOT let the enemy win this battle for your spouse’s soul! Thats what this is ultimately about, folks!!!! STAND in the gap for your loved one and WATCH GOD DO IT!!! Thank you, Bob for being so honest and sharing your story with us all. I know you have sense gone on to be with the Father but you left us a letter of hope to open up our hearts to what the Lord wants to do through us.

Clarity!

I would recommend this book to anyone who is standing for their marriage. Bob gives so much clarity from the perspective of the prodigal. So much of what Charlene and Bob lived related so much to my own marriage. This is a spiritual battle. Keep standing and allow God to move.

Helpful

I found it really helpful when wondering what could possibly be going through a prodigals mind. There were a lot of things that made since and I could see parallels

The Prodigal's Perspective

I enjoyed it very much. I'm looking forward to reading more about how God is working behind the scenes. I'm 75 and my husband is 80. Waiting hasn't been easy as time marches on. We were only married 6 months when he divorced me, 3 yrs ago. We both still love each other, but there's lots of baggage. Both of us were widowed. Do you have anything that could help me navigate through this pain. We've had 3 false starts. I know God is working in the background. I'm at peace with the wait, but feel, like time is slipping away at our age. Do you have anything for those of us who's situation wasn't infidelity? We both love God and are believers in prayer. However, he's a very stubborn man with a sad childhood.
